The Cheerful Life Charity and Empowerment Foundation has inaugurated its Oke-Ibadan region,with Alhaji Kazeem Alarape as the pioneer regional leader.
Inaugurating the new executives of the region,Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation,represented by her deputy,Mrs.Sola Somosu, expressed her satisfaction over the birth of the new region.
She said the inauguration of the region’s new executive officers represent a significant milestone to advance the course of the Foundation.
She implored the members to cooperate with the new leadership of the region in order to deliver value.
She said:”We know as a matter of fact that its not possible for there not to be any rancour, but we implore you all to always speak out or contact your group leaders.If you feel they can’t handle it , pls contact your District Governor or the national leaders.
“We have created this group for us to have a place to catch fun in a decent environment and help the less privileged the little way we can.Your District Governor and Group Leader have been staunch supporters of this dream called LIFF and without them , we couldn’t have grown this much this fast.”
In his acceptance speech, the regional leader,Kazeem Alarape ,said the event was a watershed in the history of the Foundation as it afforded members opportunity to formally witness the inaugural ceremony of its new chapter, and press further in our mission to add value to the society.
He also said the inauguration of the brand, could not have come into reality without the vision and the articulate philosophy of the Founder of
the Cheerful Life Charity and Empowerment Foundation, whose love for humanity is second to none.
He disclosed that the Oke-Ibadan region, emerged as a region from the Ibadan/Oyo Islanders on December 15, 2024 after a thorough deliberation by the leaders of the Foundation.The remaining unit of the defunct Ibadan/Oyo Islanders,was named as Oluyole Region.
He added:”With over 85 esteemed members from different professional callings, the chapter’s plans are tailored to the overall objectives of the Cheerful Life Charity and Empowerment Foundation to continuosly create impacts and distinctively show class on how best to be socially responsible and responsive.”
He appreciated the region’s members for the support so far, and tasked them to redouble their efforts in building a virile and supportive region the society would be proud of.
He assured that his leadership would maintain an open door policy,and initiate purposeful-driven projects in line with the overall objectives of the Cheerful Life Charity and Empowerment Foundation.
