President Bola Tinubu will address the nation today in a nationwide broadcast on the situation in Rivers State.
A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President gave this indication on Tuesday, evening.
The statement noted that the NTA and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria will transmit the broadcast at 7 pm.
“All TV and radio stations are requested to link up with the broadcast,” the terse statement added.
Since the verdict of the Supreme Court on Rivers State, the political stakeholders in the oil rich state have been polarised, especially between the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike and incumbent governor, Sim Fubara.
