The George Akume Reality Movement for Tinubu 2027 (GARM) on Wednesday unveiled a detailed mandate definition and action plan aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Unveiled at its National Convention in Abuja, the event brought together key political actors, support groups, party loyalists, and stakeholders.
The APC Director of Election Management, Mr. Tasiu Mohammed, who represented the National Chairman,
Professor Nentawe Yilwatda , stressed that the Chairman attaches great importance to the GARM initiative.
He described the movement as a significant contributor to the party’s mobilisation efforts and strategic preparations for 2027.
“Professor Nentawe Yilwatda considers this convention and the work of GARM critical to the future of our great party and to the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Mohammed stated. “He has asked me to reaffirm that you can always count on his support and the backing of the party leadership.”
He commended the organisers for their commitment to consolidating grassroots structures and praised the movement’s consistency in championing pro-Tinubu and pro-Akume mobilisation across the country.
The National Coordinator and Convener of the George Akume Reality Movement for Tinubu 2027, Rose Sewuese Mbatamen, also emphasised the importance of sustained citizen engagement and alignment with the broader APC vision.
Mr. Mohammed, on behalf of the National Chairman, formally declared the convention open, pledging continued cooperation between the party’s leadership and strategic support groups like GARM.

The event also recognised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Distinguished Special Guest of the Convention and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, as Chief Host.
The convention featured the official unveiling of GARM’s mandate definition and action plan, signalling a renewed commitment to structured mobilisation, policy communication, and grassroots engagement.
