A student of Bayero University Kano (BUK), Collins Whitworth, will attempt two Guinness World Records in face painting, with the support of Indomie Instant Noodles.

The bid is billed to take place on October 1, 2025, in Kano, where Collins hopes to put his name in the Guinness World Records by surpassing existing feats in the art of face painting.

His targets include painting more than 12 faces in three minutes and over 220 faces in one hour.

He explained that these goals are aimed at breaking the current record of 12 faces in three minutes, held by Emilia Zakonnova, who set the mark on July 30, 2025.

He disclosed that he had earlier attempted a Guinness World Record in 2024 but fell short.

He said the experience has prepared him better for the October contest.

“That attempt taught me valuable lessons. This time, I am coming more focused, more determined, and more prepared,” Collins said.

Indomie, one of Nigeria’s leading household brands, announced its sponsorship of the event, describing the move as part of its commitment to supporting youth, creativity, and bold dreams.

The record attempt is expected to draw students, art enthusiasts, and well-wishers to witness the Kano-born student’s historic moment.
