The Aresa pupa of Iresa pupa Alayeluwa Oba Moses Olayiwola Ajibode III,has emphasized the need for  the Oyo State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC to recruit his subjects into the service of the corp.
The monarch, who gave the advice in his remarks at the commissioning of a new station office   in Iresa pupa town, Surulere local government  which  he built for the corps,emphasized that the development was necessary in order to boost the security architecture of his kingdom.
He explained that he constructed the building for NSCDC to provide conducive working environment for officers and men in his kingdom to discharge their duties of safeguarding public safety, peace and security.
He  advised other traditional rulers, government and well meaning people in the society to emulate this gesture by providing infrastructures, vehicles and other logistics to assist NSCDC and other security agencies to overcome the security challenges bedeviling the nation.
The representative of the Head of Local Government Administration Mr Ayoade Amos, the Deputy Director Administration promised that the council will  maintain  the building.
The  Oyo Commandant of the NSCDC,Iskilu Akinsanya, explained that the expansion of the corps to the grassroots  was necessary as part of the policy of the Commandant General of the Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi,towards ensuring that lives and properties are well protected across the nation.
He implored  the people of Iresa pupa to live in harmony with other tribe in the town, give timely and valuable information to the security agent in their neighborhood to nip crime in the bud.
He  urged  officers of the station to make judicious of the office and infrastructure therein and carry out their duty with fear of God and professional manner
