The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, has secured 27 convictions in the last 12 months.
No fewer than 301 suspects were arrested by the formation between August 2025 and October 2026.
The Corps Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed this on Tuesday while addressing newsmen at the headquarters of the formation in Alagbaka, Akure.
He said 102 cases were resolved through alternative dispute resolution.
About 15 crime suspects were paraded during the briefing, among whom were three persons who allegedly kidnapped a poultry farmer and allergy killed another lady in their hideout.
One of the three suspects confessed that they demanded N100 million only from the family of the poultry farmer but they failed to pay.
The poultry farmer told journalists that he spent six days in the den of the kidnappers before he was rescued by operatives of Amotekun Corps.
Besides, the Amotekun Corps has launched “Operation Laafia Dandan” Compulsory Peace) to ensure sustenance of peace in the state before, during and after the Yuletide.
He explained that all black spots across the state and all interstate borders would be under surveillance as the the Corps would continue with the 24/7 patrol.
He added: The parade today is going to be an opportunity for us to showcase our scorecard in terms of fighting criminal activities in Ondo State between August 2026 and October ending 2026.
“We have on parade here 15 suspects. In the 15 suspects, we have four on anti-grazing, two on breach of law and order, and nine on kidnap-related cases.
“The last time we paraded kidnap suspects and victims, we made it very clear that Ondo State would not tolerate any form of criminality. And we said that we are going to go after the kidnappers. I’m glad to let you know that we were able to apprehend the three major kidnappers that actually kidnapped the poultryman and killed the lady. They are with us today.
“The victim had identified them, and the suspects had also confessed to the crime. This goes a long way in showing that Ondo State is not a place where criminalities could thrive. In more specific terms, the four people arrested and that have since confessed to kidnapping of the suspects are Ali Tati, Yusuf Tati, Sadiq 27, Moshud 22.
“The first three were those that are directly involved in Gberilegi Ondo kidnap. That was about two months ago. There is also the Mohamed 22 that was arrested in connection with kidnap in Ala Adada.
“Usman and Suleiman were arrested for violating anti-grazing laws of Ondo State in Legbeka. On burglary and stealing, we have a 26-year-old Peter and a Lawal 26 and Gabriel for stealing. There is this 40-year-old that specialises in stealing TV’s and phones.
“We have since recovered all the stolen items from them. On looting of government schools in Ile-Oluji and Legbeka. we have Dada 26, Seyi 24, Hassan 22, Sunday 19 that were caught red-handed while removing the roof. I haven’t stolen all the computers in the schools.
“Across the board, within these months under review, we arrested 301 suspects and out of these 301 suspects, we have secured conviction serving various jail terms or fulfilling conditions for those that have options of fine 27.
“Using the alternative dispute resolution on many cases, we were able to resolve the two parties, the total number of 102. We were able to go this far because of the active support we have from the Amotekun Ambassadors that we have in the 18 local governments, the plainclothes intel, the local on-task, the local vigilantes, and of course officers and men of the court.”
