The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited Unit, has sought spiritual intervention for the total revival of the steel plant.
Conveying this in a May Day message, chairman of the unit, Comrade Muhammed Rabiu, also prayed to God to give Nigerians the wherewithal to resuscitate the over 40 years plant.
He said:May God touch the hearts of our leaders to do the needful, so that this sleeping giant will roar again, create jobs for our teeming youths, and restore Nigeria’s industrial pride.
He also sought divine intervention over the insecurity bedeviling Nigeria, praying for peace return to every troubled community in the country.
He prayed Almighty God grant wisdom and courage to Nigeria’s security forces as they defend our nation.
He added:”We lift up every household struggling under the weight of economic hardship. May God open new doors of provision, grant our leaders sound economic judgment, and restore prosperity to our great country.”
He maintained that the workers Your sacrifice, loyalty, and dedication in the face of daunting challenges have kept the company’s struggle alive.
He said workers are the engine of Nigeria, stressing that history will remember their steadfastness.
He said: “To you, my faithful members: May this May Day renew your hope. May your labour never be in vain. I pray for your health, your families, and your finances. May you find favor at your workplaces, and may your commitment to our collective cause be rewarded with progress and honor.
“Let us remain united, disciplined, and focused. The struggle continues, but victory is certain when we stand together.”
