The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, has unveiled partners for its 10th annual conference scheduled to hold in Lagos.
The partners include the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC, Nigeria LNG Limited, NLNG, Nigeria Customs Service and Dangote Group.
Publicity Secretary of GOCOP, Ms Kemi Yesufu, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
Other partners mentioned are the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Bank of Industry, BoI, NDLEA, JAMB and the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC.
According to the statement, private sector organisations supporting the conference also include TAJBank, Emadeb Energy, Setraco Limited, Sovereign Trust Insurance and Nestlé Nigeria Plc.
The conference will hold at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Radisson Blu Hotel, 38 to 40 Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The theme is “2027 Elections: Trust, Transparency and Shared Responsibilities.”
Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN, will deliver the keynote address, while Founding Partner of Olisa Agbakoba Legal (OAL) and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Dr Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, will chair the conference, the statement quoted.
The panellists are CP Abayomi Shogunle, Commissioner of Police, Election Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Force Headquarters, Abuja; Prof Tayo Popoola, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos; Adaora Onyechere Sydney-Jack, Creative Director of Gender Agenda and Founder of WEWE Network Afrique; and Lanre Arogundade, Executive Director of the International Press Centre.
GOCOP Deputy President and Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, Olumide Iyanda, thanked the organisations supporting the conference.

Their contributions are an important part of making this year’s conference possible,” he said.
Iyanda said the support from organisations in the public and private sectors would help the Guild deliver the conference as it marks the 10th edition of the annual event.
The conference will examine the responsibilities of electoral institutions, political actors, security agencies, the media, civil society and citizens in strengthening public confidence in Nigeria’s electoral process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
GOCOP is a business membership organisation of 127 online publications in Nigeria. Its members are media entrepreneurs who own and operate digital publishing businesses across the country.
The Guild promotes the business and ethics of online publishing, professional standards and the collective interests of its members. It also works to strengthen the sustainability and credibility of digital journalism in Nigeria.
