Governor Fintiri, Damagum Condole APC Vice Chair Over Brother’s Demise

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, in the company of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum and Adamawa state PDP Chairman Barrister A.T Shehu, paid a condolence visit to the North East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu. 

The delegation visited to commiserate with Comrade Salihu and his family over the death of his  brother, Engineer Mohammed Barde.

Speaking, Governor Fintiri and Ambassador Damagum expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and to strengthen the family with courage and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Responding, Comrade Mustapha Salihu expressed profound gratitude for the visit, noting that the show of love and solidarity at such a difficult moment was a source of comfort to him and his family.

 He emphasized that such gestures underscore the fact that the values of humanity, empathy, and compassion transcend political affiliations.

The visit also served as a  reflection of the unique political culture in Adamawa State, where leaders often set aside party differences in times of grief or in the pursuit of collective progress. 

Governor Fintiri’s presence, alongside the PDP National  and Adamawa state Chairmen , demonstrated the spirit of unity and respect that binds communities together beyond partisan lines, reinforcing the belief that politics should serve humanity first.
