A former member of Gombe State House of Assembly from Dukku South, Hon. Sani Dugge has decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP).
Dugge confirmed the withdrawal of his membership from the PDP in a defection letter dated 25th December, 2022 addressed to the Waziri South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman.
The letter partly reads: ‘’I wish to notify you of the withdrawal of my membership (No. 3528) from today 25th December, 2022 from the Party.’’
He later confirmed to newsmen that he has joined the NNPP.
Three serving lawmakers had recently joined the NNPP in the state assembly making the party to have equal members with the PDP in the House.
