
Nigeria may be the worst hit by the death of former President of Chad,Idris Deby, the Minister of Defence Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi has said.
He disclosed this at the special weekly briefing coordinated by the Presidential Media Team,adding that the Federal Government has started taking steps to beef up security around the border areas linking Chad,
He noted that no stone will be left unturned to mitigate the effects of the Chad crisis on Nigeria, especially the influx of refugees.
Magashi also expressed displeasure over the killing of eleven soldiers in Benue State, maintaining that the Federal Government won’t take the development with pinch of salt.
