BREAKING: Lagos Assembly passes VAT, anti-open grazing bills - Vanguard News
The Lagos State House of Assembly today passed the State’s Value Added Tax, VAT, and open cattle grazing bills.
The parliamentarians  have  transmitted  a copy  of the bills to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for  requisite assent .
The Speaker of the state House, Mudashiru Obasa, directed the Acting Clerk, Mr Olalekan Onafeko to send the copy to Governor Sanwo-Olu for passage into law.
The  House  passed  the bills after unanimous votes by the lawmakers at the sitting where they were read for the third time.
Obasa commended his colleagues for their passion to see that the state continues to grow.
