Police have found a decompsing body of Hon. Justice Azuka who was kidnapped on December 24 on his way home for Christmas has been found.
Hon. Azuka was a Labour Party Lawmaker who represented Onitsha North 1 state Constituency.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, a Superintendent of Police,
Ikenga said a combined Security Team comprising the police and Anambra Vigilante Group made the finding.
The statement stated that:”In the early hours of today,6/2/2025 at the second niger bridge, the Joint Security team comprising of Police and AVG Operatives on a mission to rescue abducted Hon. Azuka, Honourable State House of Assembly member representing Onitsha North, regrettably found his lifeless body at the scene.

A combined team from Abuja was said to have arrested the culprits that kidnapped and killed the lawmaker.
According to the statement,the kidnappers showed the security men where they dumped the corpse.
