The Rivers State chapter of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria(TUC),has urged the Federal Government and Rivers State to facilitate the release of its affiliate member,Comrade Casmir Ojobor,from kidnappers’ den.
Ojobor,who works in Soku Gas Plant in Rivers State,was recently abducted by kidnappers on his way to work.
The chapter’s secretary of the union,Comrade Fortune Obi,said the TUC will use every means at its disposal to secure the release of her member if the two governments refuse to ensure the return of its members .
He condemned the abduction Comrade Casmir Ojobor,saying it was uncalled work and a disservice for the labour union’s efforts to promote efficient workforce in the country.
