LPG Truck Crash Kills Five In Gombe, Minister Mourns

The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has condoled the Lawanti community in Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State following a tragic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) truck accident that claimed five lives on Monday.

The incident happened along the Bauchi-Gombe highway in Lawanti village, where the LPG truck reportedly rammed into residents.

Senator Alkali described the crash as a “huge loss not just to the bereaved families but to Gombe State as a whole, highlighting the painful circumstances of the deaths.

“While praying for the repose of the departed souls, I ask God Almighty to grant their families the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the minister said in a statement on Tuesday.

He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap.
