Former Chief Executive, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed has handed over to the incoming boss, Engr. Saidu Aliyu Mohammed.
The ceremony drew Executive Directors, senior management, and staff as key witnesses and culminated in a symbolic transfer of documents and responsibilities, adhering strictly to public service rules and corporate best practices, a statement said.
The orderly transition, the statement quoted,ensures uninterrupted regulatory oversight of midstream and downstream petroleum operations, critical for energy security and economic stability in Nigeria.
According to the agency, the change of baton highlighted the agency’s dedication to institutional continuity, accountability, and strong leadership amid ongoing reforms in Nigeria’s petroleum sector.
