APC UK Chapter Visits National Chairman, Pledges Support

A delegation from the United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, paid a congratulatory visit to the new National Chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

The delegation was led by key executives of the APC UK Chapter, including Mr. Momoh Obaro (Secretary), Mr. Bernard Doro (Financial Secretary), Dr. CAL Amayo (Welfare Secretary), and Mrs. Abimbola Fasanu (Deputy Treasurer).

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Obaro congratulated Professor Yilwatda on his emergence as the National Chairman of the APC, describing his appointment as well-deserved  and timely.

“The APC UK Chapter extends its warmest congratulations to you on your well-earned emergence as the National Chairman of our great party,” Obaro said in a statement.

He added: “Your wealth of experience, proven leadership, and unwavering commitment to progressive ideals come at a critical time for the APC and our nation.”

The delegation expressed confidence in Professor Yilwatda’s ability to usher in a new era of unity, internal cohesion, and strategic focus within the APC. 

They pledged the chapter’s continued support and readiness to collaborate with the national leadership in advancing the party’s goals both at home and abroad.

“We believe that under your stewardship, the party will witness renewed unity, strengthened internal democracy, and a clear strategic direction,” the delegation added. “The APC UK Chapter stands ready to support your vision and work collaboratively towards the continued growth and success of the party at all levels.”

Professor Yilwatda, in his remarks, appreciated the visit and commended the APC UK Chapter for their sustained engagement and loyalty to the party from the diaspora. 

He assured them of an inclusive leadership approach and welcomed continued collaboration with APC chapters abroad.
