Today, Saturday, July 26, 2025, some 960 kilometers away from Yola , one of Nigeria’s premier institutions of higher learning, the University of Port Harcourt, at its 35th Convocation Ceremony, bestowed one of its highest academic recognitions on a man widely regarded as a symbol of visionary leadership and people-centered governance: the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON.
The conferment of an honorary Doctor of Science in Public Administration on Governor Fintiri is a profound acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions to leadership, public service, and social development , not only in Adamawa State but across the country.
