CBEX Fraud:EFCC Chases Two More Suspects

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two more individuals wanted over an alleged cryptocurrency fraud scheme linked to the collapsed digital trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).

The anti-graft agency identified the suspects as Folashade Odelana, 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32.

They were accused of orchestrating fraudulent activities on the platform, which reportedly led to substantial financial losses for unsuspecting investors.

The last known address of the two suspects  is Number 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State, the EFCC said.

“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the agency said in a statement .

It urged members of the public with credible information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts to contact its offices across Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.
