Delta:Ganduje Welcomes Chiedu Ebie To APC, Visits Chief Enuha

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has formally welcomed Chief Chiedu Ebie, the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), into the fold of the APC.

 The event was marked by a vibrant display of unity and renewed strength within the party.

Present at the ceremony were members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), executives from the Delta State chapter of the party, and key political stakeholders from across the country . 

Speaking, Dr. Ganduje described Chiedu Ebie’s decision to join the APC as a significant boost to the party’s presence and influence in the South-South geopolitical zone.

 He expressed confidence that Ebie’s wealth of experience, leadership acumen, and deep understanding of the region’s dynamics would contribute meaningfully to the growth of the APC and its mission to deliver good governance.

“Chief Chiedu Ebie brings with him a track record of service and an unwavering commitment to development, particularly in the Niger Delta. His decision to join our great party signals a new chapter not just for Delta State but for the entire region,” Ganduje added.

Besides, Dr. Ganduje, in the company of the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, paid a courtesy visit to the Ogwashi-Uku country home of a respected elder statesman and party stalwart, Chief (Engr.) Hyacinth Enuha, widely known as the Onowu of Gburugburu.

During the visit, Dr. Ganduje acknowledged Chief Enuha’s long-standing contributions to the APC and described him as a pillar of wisdom and strength within the party. He noted that the leadership of the APC values Chief Enuha’s insights and unwavering dedication to the party’s ideals.

Chief Enuha expressed appreciation for the visit and reiterated his loyalty to the APC. He commended Dr. Ganduje for his inclusive leadership style and pledged to continue supporting the party at all levels. 

“I am honored by this brotherly visit. The APC remains my home, and I am committed to doing all that is necessary to ensure its success both at the national and state levels,” he said.

Political observers said the twin events  are part of a broader effort by the APC to consolidate its base in the South-South region ahead of future elections.
