Tinubu had invoked a state of emergency in Rivers State, citing the protracted political crisis for his actions.
While the power play between current Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara got heightened, Tinubu revealed that he felt disturbed and needed to take immediate actions to stop the crisis, which was depriving the citizens of Rivers the dividends of democracy.
