Gombe 2023: PDP Chairmen, Councillor Join NNPP

Ahead of the 2023 election,New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Gombe State has continued to receive defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into its fold.

Four former deputy chairmen in Billiri, Kwami and Nafada local governments and a former Councillor in Gombe have defected from the PDP to NNPP.

They joined the new party after meeting the state NNPP Governorship candidate for the coming election.

The defectors include: two former deputy chairmen from Billiri, one each from Kwami and Nafada local governments and a Councillor from Tall ward in Billiri local government.

They are: Yila Dankuka, a
former deputy chairman, Billiri Local Government (2013-2015;) Philip Bataliya Deputy Chairman, Billiri local government in
2003.

Others include; Auwalu Rabiu, former Deputy Chairman of Kwami local government, Hon. Aliyu Biri, ex Dep Chairman of Nafada local government and Hon. Muhammed Balas Tal, a former Councillor Tall Ward in Billiri local government between 2013 and 2015.
