An activist,Rasheed Saheed has said that former governor of Lagos,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,is the best among the candidates vying for presidential seat in the next year’s general general election.
He told Nigerians to downplay ethnicities and religions but consider experience and uncommon love of each candidate for the country.
Describing the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC,) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the most favoured,Saheed hinted that in the consideration of the stated qualities, non of the other major contestants matches Tinubu.
He added:”Tinubu has proven even to his critics that he can raise life from a lifeless economy.His numerous achievements are abound and his intimidating legacies there for all to see and admit”.
He enjoined the citizenry to consider the likely consequences of Nigeria and Nigerians going through another years of untold hardships.
He believes that Tinubu for his humble background and his generosity would turn things around.
He lamented that same could not be said of his arch-rival, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar whom he said could not influence a single project in the North-East throughout his eight years in office.
According to him: “while close allies and some lovers of Tinubu including analysts have always trumped up the achievements of Tinubu in Lagos, no one has said same or similar thing of Atiku; this is a very big flaw we voters would not sweep under the carpet,” he pointed.
He added that most of the developmental claims of the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi as the governor of Anambra State were shrouded in lies and deceit.
