Lagos Monarchs Back  Tinubu’s Presidential Bid

The Ikeja branch of Lagos State traditional rulers association has supported the presidential bid  of  the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu

 

 

His Royal Majesty Oba Lasisi Gbadebo Gbadamosi Oloton, Onigando of Igando,who is the head of the traditional rulers, described Tinubu as the most experienced person to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

 

The 65 traditional rulers unanimously endorsed Tinubu during the visit of the South West Agenda ‘23 (SWAGA’23) to the Palace of Onigando of Igando in Lagos, yesterday.

 

 

 

 

The  SWAGA’23 team had on Sunday visited traditional rulers of the Badagry division to seek their blessings and endorsement for the APC national leader.

 

Speaking on  the purpose of the visit, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, national chairman of SWAGA’23 said, “Our task is an easy one because we speak with one voice, in search for an experienced presidential aspirant and we have found that in Bola Tinubu.”

 

Adeyeye commended the traditional rulers for being at the fore front of the struggle, appreciated the special role that they have played and stressed that the Obas in Lagos State met and endorsed Tinubu to run for President.

 

 

In his remarks, the Onigando of Igando  who received the delegation said emphatically that Tinubu would emerge President, while he prayed for the team and assured them of their support.
