ARII Executive Director wins Outstanding Humanitarian Award at 40 Under 40  Awards
 The Executive Director of the Resource Centre for Human Rights & Civic Education (CHRICED),Comrade Ibrahim Zikirullahi has been awarded a World Happiness Olympiad (WHO).
The  award is organised by Rindes Edge Africa, a Foundation which seeks to support global change makers in Africa through knowledge sharing and recognition. Rindes Edge Africa through the World Happiness Olympiad is committed to recognizing and supporting individuals, whose ideas and efforts invested in pushing for the realisation of those ideas, bring about lasting, positive and impactful change within African societies.
According to the testimonial in the certificate and plaques conveying the recognition, signed by the President of the World Happiness Olympiad (WHO), Larry Ayorinde and Virginie Lemay, chairperson of the Awards Committee, the World Happiness Olympiad commended Comrade Zikirullahi for his positive and enduring impact through unrelenting civil society activism. Comrade Zikirullahi was therefore recognised with World Happiness Olympiad Presidential Honoree in the Gold Medal category.
Speaking on the conferment of the award on him, the CHRICED helmsman thanked Rindes Edge Africa and the World Happiness Olympiad for closely following the ideas and works of individuals working passionately to bring about just, inclusive and fair societies anchored on the rule of law and accountable governance. Comrade Dr. Zikirullahi further pledged the commitment of the CHRICED Board and its entire staff to fighting for justice in order to guarantee peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria, Africa and the world. Comrade Dr. Ibrahim also restated that CHRICED will not rest on its oars, and that “This award is a clarion call, and a reminder of the many steps we need to take to build just and inclusive societies. This recognition is basically a message that we need to redouble our efforts in terms of working for the promotion and protection of the human rights and dignity of Nigerians, and all peoples affected by rights violations across the world.”
