Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says  he signed three bills into law to ensure effective administration of the state

The three laws are; Lagos State Independent National Electoral Commission Law 2021, Lagos State Sports Commission Law and the Lagos State House of Assembly Commission Service Commission Law.
Speaking at the official signing ceremony of the laws,Sanwo-Olu  lauded the state House of Assembly for their cooperation and for the speedy amendment of the laws.
He said the three laws are to make life easy for the residents and give them more opportunities in the state.
He commended the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, for deeming it necessary to lead his colleagues to come up with the robust laws.
He also congratulated the residents for the laws, saying, “It is when you have true laws that you have true representation.”
On the Lagos State Sports Law, the governor said it is to deepen sports activities in the state and give opportunity to those at the grassroots.
The governor said the Executive will ensure the independence of the Legislature and the Judiciary.
He said it will also galvanise development in all nooks and crannies of the state.
” With this law, the government will build eight mini-stadia  to ensure a sector that the youths will be proud of,” he said.
