The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted six more computer-based test centres from the list of those accredited to participate in the ongoing unified tertiary matriculation examinations nationwide
The 2021 UTME kicked off nationwide on Saturday.
The action cane after the examination examination body appraised its activities on the second day of the examination,according to its spokesman,Fabian Benjamin.
He noted that the affected centres performed below the examination body’s expectation.
“The centres are delisted following their below average performance in the conduct of the second day of the 2021 UTME,” Mr Benjamin wrote.
He listed the affected centres as Dayspring Christian College, Opete, Delta State; Fountain Knowledge International Academy CBT Centre, and Twelve Apostles College, both in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
At the federal capital territory, FCT, JAMB delisted Lead British International School, Gwarimpa while Zaria Academy, Zaria, Kaduna State and Muhammed Kamaldeen CBT Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, were also affected.

Buhari Names Board Members Of EFCC
President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has appointed George Abang Ekpungu as the Secretary of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The appointment is for a fresh tenure of five years.
Also appointed as Board Members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission are Luqman Muhammad (South South), Anumba Adaeze (South East), Alhaji Kola Raheem Adesina (North Central) and Alhaji Yahya Muhammad (North East).
This appointment was in line with Section 2 (1) and Section 4 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act, 2004.
According to the statement EFCC has been operating without Board Members since 2015.
President Buhari has already directed the forwarding the names for confirmation of the Senate.
