The Registrar of the National Examination Council (NECO),Professor Godswill Obioma,
has been killed.
He was strangled to death by gunmen suspected to be assassins,according to his wife,Elizabeth, who confirmed that “the assassins came in and killed him and left without taking anything.”
She disclosed that her husband had just returned to Minna from Abuja when the armed men attacked him.
Mr Obioma, 67, was appointed head of NECO on May 14, 2020.
