Dayo Pelumi, Special Assistant (New Media & Innovation), Office of the Executive Director, NFVCB Headquarters communicated Oyadiran’s appointment in a press statement.
Mrs. Oyadiran has since assumed duty following the expiration of the tenure of Alhaji Adedayo Thomas in March 2021.
She holds an M.A in African Languages & Literature and has garnered experiences that transverses the public and private sectors, spanning over 29 years.
She is a pioneer staff of the National Film and Video Censors Board and was the head of NFVCB Ibadan Preview Centre from 2003 to 2017. She was also Director of Film Censorship and Classification, at a time, while holding various positions with key management decisions and exerting significant impact on the Board’s recorded successes so far.
Until the latest announcement, she was the Director, Planning Research and Statistics, DPRS, and the most senior Director of the Board.
The statement said: “Mrs. Oyadiran has been directed to oversee and perform the functions of the Office of the Executive Director/CEO of the Board pending the appointment of a substantive Executive Director/CEO by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
