Suspected bandits Monday launched fresh on the Yakin Kwata community in Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State abducting 40 Islamic faithful from a mosque.
The fourty worshippers who were kidnapped were observing the early morning Ramadan prayers called Tahajjud when the bandits attacked them
It was learnt that the security operatives were alerted and went after the kidnappers and were able to rescue twenty-nine of them.
