The Oyo State New Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has described the appointment of its Secretary, Mr Dapo Falade, by Governor Seyi Makinde as a recognition of his professional experience, dedication to journalism and contributions to media development in the state.
Conveying this in a congratulatory statement signed by its Chairman, Femi Atoyebi, the Chapel expressed delight over the appointment.
It noted that the development reflected confidence in Falade’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to public service and governance.
The statement lauded Governor Makinde for finding Falade fit for the responsibility, describing the appointment as an encouragement to media practitioners who have continued to demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the development of the state.
