The Grand Chief Imam of Oyo Land, Sheikh Al-Imam Barrister Bilal Husayn Akinola Akeugberu, has commended the Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu for sustaining and encouraging academic atmosphere.
The gesture, he also said, has promoted learning environment conducive to excellence, character development, and innovation.
He gave the commendation when he visited the don and the management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
A statement from the office of the Oyo Chief Imam quoted that both leaders discussed areas of cooperation and support, with emphasis on fostering mutual understanding between religious leadership and academic institutions for the overall benefit of students, staff, and the wider community.
According to the statement, the Vice Chancellor and the Grand Chief Imam reaffirmed their commitment to mutual support and relevant assistance whenever the need arises, in the collective interest of educational advancement, moral uprightness, and societal development.
It added:”The Grand Chief Imam prayed for continued peace, wisdom, and success for the University, its leadership, and the entire LAUTECH community.”
