The Association of Energy Correspondents of Nigeria (NAEC), has said that the appointment of Engineer Bayo Ojulari, as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited ,represents a blessing to the country’s oil and gas sector.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday, announced the appointment of Ojulari and a new board for NNPC Ltd with a dissolution of the old board taking immediate effect.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of NAEC, Ugo Amadi, the group maintained that Ojulari would bring positive impact to the oil and gas sector in Nigeria on the strength of his wealth of experience in the industry.
“As Editors and correspondents reporting the sector, we look forward to having a robust working relationship with you and other members of your team with the hope of building a solid base for the development of the sector in the overall good of Nigeria.
“As you build on the legacies of your predecessor, we once again congratulate you on this latest appointment, and wish you the very best as you settle down to your new task,” the statement said.
He congratulated Engineer Bayo Ojulari on his appointment as the new helmsman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.
