NIS Redeploys 15 Passport Control Officers

has ordered the immediate redeployment fifteen Passport Control Officers, as the service move to deepen the ongoing Passport reform process.

The deployment is part of NIS management’s drive to upgrade the Passport administration both at home and in our foreign missions.

She assured that the current leadership of the Service is resolutely committed to transforming passport offices into customer-centric service centres.

In the posting Order, signed by the Ag. Deputy Comptroller General in charge of Human Resource Management, Usman Babangida, the affected Passport offices included, Alausa and Festac both in Lagos, as well as the ones in Edo, Anambra, Bayelsa, Kogi, Nassarawa, Plateau, Enugu, Abia, Kano, Taraba and Ondo, among others.

According to a statement Kenneth Kure, ACI in charge of public relations, CGI Adepoju has enjoined all affected officers in the redeployment to bring their wealth of experience to their new offices, and contribute to the improvement of service delivery.

Emphasizing the import of “service above self,” the Ag. CGI declared that henceforth, only the very capable and dedicated individuals will be assigned to sensitive positions so as to ensure excellence in service delivery ensures that citizens receive nothing less than the best service possible.
