Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended he chairman, Akinyele local government,Mr Taoreed Adedigba pending investigation into alleged gross misconduct, misappropriation of funds.
This followed deliberation on the floor of the house during plenary on Tuesday.
The house directed his vice to take over the council while the secretary take over the LCDA 1 and the assistant secretary to LCDA 2.
The assembly also directed the chairman, Ibadan North local government, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.
Agba Egbe was alleged to have engaged in abuse of office and misappropriation of local government funds.
