The Presidential Election Petition Court sitting at the Court of Appeal, has granted an order for the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate in the February 25, election Atiku Abubakar, to serve court papers on the president-elect Bola Tinubu, by substituted means.
The order was made upon an ex parte application filed and moved by Tayo Jegede SAN, on behalf of the petitioners.
He informed the 3-man panel that the petitioners have not been able to effect service of their petition and other processes on Tinubu of the All Progressives Candidate.
They prayed the court to make an order for the processes to be served on Tinubu by pasting them on the gate of the APC national Secretariat and or Tinubu’s last known address.
