Concerned Group Against Crime and Injustice,has implored the Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Dr.Ahmed Audi to summon a Lagos command officer of the corps,Victor Olukunle Oluokun, over alleged forgery forging the certificate of Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma and National Youths Coprs (NYSC) certificates.
The group,in a recent petition alleged that Oluokun allegedly used the forged certificates to get elevated to high echelon in the command.
The petition also advised the CG of NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Audi, the Chairman, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission ( ICPC) and others to invite Oluokun for questioning and furnish them with requisite documents that showed that he was admitted into the university and graduated from same.
The petition however urged the NSCDC boss to write an official letter to the Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma to ascertain and verifying the authenticity of Victor Olukunle Oluokun.
The group added:” In 2010 when Victor Oluokun joined the Corp, he entered with his Diploma in law from Abdul Gusau Polytechnic, Zamfara State on grade level 06, ( Assistant Inspector). In 2011 when the proper placement and upgrading excise came, he was dropped from grade level 06 to grade level 04 as his Diploma in Law from Abdul Gusau Polytechnic couldnt merit the level 06. Shortly after, he forged the Batchelor Degree fromAbrose Ali University,Ekpoma, which he used to also get another proper placement to ASC 1 on Grade level 09,” the petition read.
The petition also alleged that has it that Victor Oluokun in collaboration with some officers in both Personnel and Administration Departments were able to help successfully removed his initial/previous forged HND, Public Administration from Kwara State Polytechnic and planted his forged Bsc from Ambrose Ali University.
The group emphasized the need to suspend Oluokun, pending the final exoneration, through written letter to the school and the NYSC Headquarter, Abuja to confirm the NYSC certificate in his possession.
The group also said Oluokun he should be made to return all the money he has since been receiving from the corps to the government coffers on account of his alleged fraudulent activities.
The Lagos command of NSCDC,has promised to investigate the matter.
