UN Ready To Assist Nigeria Tackle Insecurity

The Director- General of the United Nations Office in Geneva, Ms. Tatiana Valovaya,  has disclosed the UN’s plans to collaborate with Nigeria to address the security challenges besetting the country.
Valovaya  disclosed this when Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other International Organizations, H.E  Ambassador Abiodun Richards Adejola, presented his Letter of Credence to her.
She  said the international body was of  the security challenges in Nigeria and assured the the UN will continue to engage and actively collaborate with Nigeria to address the challenges of terrorism and violent extremism.
She  commended Nigeria’s involvement in the Strategic Development Goals LAB, a multi-stakeholder initiative that contributes to the implementation of the SDGs.
